These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website ibiza-yacht-rental.com ("the Site") and any charter services arranged through it.

By using the Site or submitting an enquiry or booking petition, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Ibiza Yacht Rental is a yacht and boat charter platform operating in Ibiza and Formentera. We connect guests with private charter vessels and handle the arrangement of charter experiences on your behalf.

We act as an intermediary between charter guests and vessel operators. The specific terms of each charter — including cancellation conditions, security deposit requirements, and on-board rules — are set by the individual vessel operator and will be provided to you as part of the booking process.

Submitting an enquiry through the Site does not constitute a booking and creates no obligation on either party. An enquiry is a request for information or a charter proposal.

We aim to respond to all enquiries within one working day.

A booking petition is a formal request to proceed with a specific charter on specific dates. Submitting a petition does not confirm a booking — it initiates a review and confirmation process.

A booking is only confirmed once you have received written confirmation from us and any required deposit has been received.

All prices displayed on the Site are inclusive of Spanish VAT (IVA) at the applicable rate, unless stated otherwise. The VAT rate applicable at the time of booking is stored as part of your booking record.

Fuel costs are not included in the charter price unless explicitly stated. Fuel is charged separately based on actual consumption.

Port fees, marina charges, food and drink, watersports extras, and additional crew are also charged separately unless explicitly included.

We will always provide a clear written summary of what is and is not included before you confirm a booking.

Payment terms — including deposit amount and timing, final payment deadlines, and accepted payment methods — are specific to each charter and will be provided at the time of booking confirmation. These terms are set by the vessel operator and will be communicated to you in writing.

Cancellation terms are specific to each charter and will be communicated to you in writing at the time of booking. These terms vary by vessel operator and are non-negotiable once a booking is confirmed.

We strongly recommend obtaining appropriate travel and charter cancellation insurance before confirming any booking.

In the unlikely event that a confirmed charter cannot proceed due to vessel unavailability, we will notify you as soon as possible and endeavour to offer an equivalent alternative or a full refund of any deposit paid.

Changes to confirmed bookings are subject to availability and vessel operator approval. We cannot guarantee that changes can be accommodated. Any change requests must be made in writing to info@ibiza-yacht-rental.com.

By confirming a charter, you agree:

• To provide accurate information about the number of guests, their ages, and any specific requirements

• That the number of guests will not exceed the maximum capacity specified for the vessel

• To follow the instructions of the skipper and crew at all times — the skipper has final authority over the vessel and its route for safety reasons

• Not to bring prohibited substances, dangerous items, or pets on board unless explicitly agreed in advance

• To treat the vessel, its equipment, and the crew with respect

• To pay for any damage caused to the vessel or equipment beyond normal wear and tear

Valid identification documents are required at the time of charter for all guests in certain circumstances. Specific requirements will be communicated at the time of booking.

We act as an intermediary in the arrangement of charter experiences. Our liability is limited to the services we directly provide as an agent — specifically, the arrangement and communication of your charter booking.

We are not liable for the acts or omissions of vessel operators, skippers, crew, or other third parties involved in the delivery of your charter.

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: adverse weather conditions, vessel mechanical failure, port authority restrictions, or acts of nature.

In circumstances where a charter cannot proceed due to force majeure, we will work in good faith to find a suitable alternative date or arrangement.

The skipper has sole authority to determine whether conditions are suitable for departure. If the skipper considers conditions unsafe, the charter may be postponed or curtailed. In such cases, we will work with the vessel operator to offer an alternative date where possible.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the services provided through this Site shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ibiza, Spain.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version displayed on the Site at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
